2010 World Cup Qualifying Playoffs Preview
ByNational teams have been on the road for two year not in South Africa. And the time has finally coming to an end and with a clear list of who will play in the world cup. Until now, 23 countries have been qualified to the World Cup 2010.
The World Cup 2010 qualifiers will be played today, November 14 2009 and on Wednesday on 18th of November 2009. We will give you a preview of these games and how you could bet on the games online.
Starting from the European Qualifiers
Ireland versus France
One of the countries that have always been in the World Cups is France. They were not so many times that they have gambled on their clear place in the World Cup. In case Raymond Demenech and his boys fail to make it to South Africa 2010 this summer. I think that there will be enormous changes in the team. On the other side of the coin, Ireland, with their Italian coach Giovanni Trapattoni have done incredible achievement so far but based on their previous games and results, the probability of France winning is higher than that of Ireland. But with “Les Bleus” anything can happen.
Another waited match is Portugal versus Bosnia & Herzegovina
With all the fuss with Ronaldo’s fitness between Portugal and Real Madrid, eventually it turns out that captain Ronaldo will not play in the qualifying games. So far, Portugal’s squad was not so brilliant in their games, and although they kicked out Hungary and Sweden on a close race to secure their spots, still they have much to prove. On the other hand, we have witnessed Bosnia & Herzegovina as an outstanding game play and an amazing team spirit to secure a spot.
On the Bosnian side, Dzeko, Ibisevic, Salihovic and Misimovic are all playing tonight well as on Portugal, we have Veloso, Moutinho, Nani, and the great Pepe. So the football betting odds are on Portugal tonight to win. Well, you can try to go with your instincts on this one to bet on and to win the bonuses.
And then comes Greece versus Ukraine
Although Greece has won at EURO 2004 in Portugal, yet they have failed to qualify in the World Cup 2006, and another weak performance in EURO 2008. Ukraine on the other hand, have great potential of winning since they have been winning most of their matches.
The betting odds on Greece winning are low; I predict a close win for Ukraine.
And finally Russia versus Slovenia
Guus Hiddink, the wanted coach has always qualified for finals and has never left out his squad in such important competitions such as World cup. I think that although Slovenia will fight hard but Russians are the favorites to win this match and qualify to the World Cup 2010.
