Formula 1 sports betting tips

Formula 1 is a very exciting game that betting enthusiasts wants to take advantage of every season. It may be that F1 does not run year round, but during the season, there are many betting chances for its fans.

It is therefore important for many bettors especially those new to this betting arena to know where and when they can take advantage of betting for Formula 1.

I believe that like in betting for the NBA, bettors think that betting is only for the Grand Prix itself. But this is not true; this article will therefore help you know where you can bet and how to be good with it.

Types of bets for Formula 1

  • Betting for qualifiers
  • Betting on Individual Race (driver and/or constructor)
  • Betting to the Over All Champion (driver and/or constructor)

Betting for Qualifiers

There is a betting event the day before the Grand Prix Race. You bet on the driver’s starting position and even bet on the driver that will get the Pole Position.

Betting on Individual Race

You can bet to win and your designated driver needs to win the race. However, you may bet on each win as well. The pay out is only 1/5th of the win odds if you bet on each win.

You may also bet on the Top Scoring Constructor in an event. Choose the top scoring constructor such as Renault, Williams or McLaren.

Betting for the Over All Champion

Bet on the winning driver or constructor. You may still bet on each win but again, this may be 1/3rd of the win odds.

Other tips for F1 Bettors

  • Study the entries. Choose the team or the driver who will dominate the season. Review the odds and the statistics before betting.
  • Formula 1 is a team sport, the driver’s performance is important but the entire team may likewise help in ensuring the team wins. Consider them in your bet.
  • Spread betting may be good but if you think you should exit, you can do at anytime.

Formula 1 is an exciting event, be excited betting for your team but do not forget, even the best team losses at times. So, do not expect so much.
